About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud R&D team and help design, implement, and maintain highly scalable cloud infrastructure that powers millions of websites globally.
You will be responsible for improving infrastructure security, scalability, reliability, and automation while supporting the entire R&D organization through CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and cloud operations.
You will work closely with development teams, optimize Kubernetes environments, participate in architecture decisions, and contribute to building large-scale systems that operate 24/7.
This role offers significant ownership, exposure to large-scale B2C infrastructure challenges, and the opportunity to become one of the first international DevOps engineers helping establish a future engineering presence in Poland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve infrastructure to make it more secure, scalable, and robust.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Support R&D cloud operations by developing automation tools and processes.
- Participate in architecture planning for cloud-based solutions.
- Optimize workloads and Kubernetes clusters.
- Build and maintain monitoring and observability solutions.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies for internal and external services.
- Collaborate closely with developers, engineering teams, and stakeholders across the organization.
- Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately one week every 1.5–2 months).
Required Competence and Skills:
- 5+ years of professional DevOps experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Hands-on experience with GCP or AWS
- Experience operating production environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Experience working with MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Terraform.
- Experience developing Kubernetes Operators.
- Experience operating highly available 24/7 production systems.
- Experience working in large-scale B2C environments.
