Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Go Adaptiq Ltd. (doing business as “Adaptiq”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares and otherwise processes Personal Information when you visit adaptiq.co and related webpages (the “Website”), contact us, submit a business inquiry, apply for a position, join our talent network, participate in a referral process, or otherwise interact with us through the Website.

For the processing described in this Policy, Go Adaptiq Ltd., an Israeli company, generally acts as the controller (or, under Israeli law, the database controller) because it determines the purposes and means of the processing. In limited cases, Adaptiq may process Personal Information on behalf of a customer under a separate agreement, in which case that customer is responsible for the applicable privacy notice. This Policy is a privacy notice and does not require you to “agree” to it as a contract. Where we rely on consent for a specific processing activity, we will request that consent separately where required by applicable law.

We collect only Personal Information that is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. The categories of information we may collect depend on how you interact with us and may include the following:

  • Contact and business inquiry information, such as your name, email address, company or professional details, the content of your inquiry, and other information you choose to provide.
  • Recruitment and talent-network information, such as first and last name, email address, phone number, CV/resume, employment history, education, skills, professional profiles or portfolio links, interview information, and other information you submit in connection with a role.
  • Referral information. If you refer another person, or if another person refers you, we may receive names, contact details, professional profile links and other information reasonably necessary to administer the referral and recruitment process.
  • Communications information, including correspondence with our recruiting, sales, support or other teams.
  • Technical and usage information collected automatically when you use the Website, such as IP address, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP, referring page, pages viewed, date/time information, cookie or similar identifiers, and security or diagnostic logs.

We may receive Personal Information directly from you, from a person who refers you, from our customers or service providers where relevant, from publicly available professional sources (for example, a professional networking profile), and automatically through the Website. Where applicable law requires us to provide additional information when Personal Information is obtained from another source, we will do so within the required timeframe.

Unless we state otherwise, providing Personal Information through the Website is voluntary. If you do not provide information that is necessary to respond to an inquiry, process an application or provide a requested service, we may be unable to proceed with that request.

Please do not provide special-category or particularly sensitive Personal Information through general Website forms unless it is specifically requested, necessary for the relevant process, and permitted by applicable law.

Privacy of children

We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any Personal Information through the Website and Services. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided Personal Information to us through the Website and Services, please contact us to request that we delete that child’s Personal Information from our Services.

If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child in circumstances where such collection is not permitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, subject to any legal obligation to retain the information.

Use and processing of collected information

We process Personal Information only for specified purposes and on a basis permitted by applicable law. For individuals in the EEA or other jurisdictions that require a legal basis for processing, the basis will depend on the relevant activity.

We may process Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to business inquiries, communicate with prospective customers and take steps requested before entering into a contract. Where applicable, we rely on pre-contractual steps and/or our legitimate interest in responding to and developing business relationships.
  • To administer recruitment, evaluate candidates, arrange interviews, communicate about opportunities, maintain a talent network and, where appropriate, present suitable candidates to relevant customers. Where applicable, we rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, our legitimate interests in recruiting and workforce planning, and consent where required.
  • To administer employee/candidate referral activities and contact referred individuals. Where applicable, we rely on our legitimate interests in recruitment and will provide required notice to the referred person.
  • To operate, maintain, secure and troubleshoot the Website, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect our systems and users. Where applicable, we rely on our legitimate interests in ensuring security and service integrity and/or compliance with legal obligations.
  • To understand Website usage and improve performance through analytics and similar technologies. Where consent is required for non-essential cookies or analytics, we rely on consent; otherwise we rely on a lawful basis available under applicable law.
  • To send business or recruitment communications where permitted by law. Where required, we will obtain consent, and you may opt out of direct marketing at any time.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, respond to lawful requests, maintain records, establish or defend legal claims, and enforce our agreements.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the nature of the information, the reasonable expectations of the individual and the potential impact on privacy. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal. Israeli law may require consent or another legal authorization for certain processing activities, and we process Personal Information in accordance with those requirements.

Disclosure of information

We may disclose Personal Information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and subject to applicable law. Recipients may include:

  • Affiliates and companies within the Adaptiq group that support recruiting, business operations, administration, security or service delivery.
  • Service providers that provide hosting and cloud infrastructure, website operation, analytics, applicant tracking and recruiting tools, customer relationship management, communications, email, IT/security, document storage and other business-support services.
  • Current or prospective customers where sharing candidate information is reasonably necessary to evaluate a candidate for a relevant role or project, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers and legal counsel where necessary for professional advice, compliance or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
  • Authorities, courts, regulators or other third parties where disclosure is required or permitted by law, or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems or prevent fraud or abuse.
  • A buyer, investor or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection measures.

We require service providers that process Personal Information on our behalf to use it only for authorized purposes and to apply appropriate confidentiality, security and data-protection safeguards. We do not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration.

International data transfers

Adaptiq is headquartered in Israel, and Personal Information may be processed in Israel and in other countries where our affiliates, customers or service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country.

Where the GDPR applies, transfers of Personal Information from the EEA to Israel may rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for Israel. If Personal Information is transferred from the EEA to another country that is not covered by an applicable adequacy decision, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism where required, such as standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard. Transfers from Israel are made in accordance with applicable Israeli data-transfer requirements.

You may contact us if you would like more information about the safeguards used for an applicable international transfer.

Retention of information

We retain Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to manage business inquiries, recruitment and talent-network activities, maintain security, comply with legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes and establish or defend legal claims. Retention periods are determined by reference to the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purpose of processing, whether the purpose can be achieved by other means, applicable limitation periods, and legal or regulatory requirements.

Recruitment information may be retained for the duration of a recruitment process and, where appropriate and lawful, for consideration for future opportunities. If information is kept in a talent network on the basis of consent, you may withdraw that consent; where it is kept on another lawful basis, you may exercise any applicable right to object or request deletion. We periodically review whether retained recruitment information remains necessary.

When Personal Information is no longer required, we will delete or anonymize it, unless continued retention is required or permitted by law. Anonymized information that can no longer identify an individual may be retained for statistical or analytical purposes.

Cookies and data analytics

The Website may use cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as core functionality, security, remembering preferences, measuring Website performance and understanding how visitors use the Website. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the Website to function, while others (for example, analytics or similar non-essential technologies) may require consent depending on applicable law.

Where consent is required, non-essential cookies or similar technologies will be used only after the required consent has been obtained. You may withdraw or change consent through the cookie-preference mechanism made available on the Website, where applicable, and you may also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Website functionality.

Analytics providers may process technical identifiers and usage data (which may constitute Personal Information under applicable law) to provide us with aggregated or statistical insights about Website traffic and performance. We do not permit analytics providers acting on our behalf to use such information for their own unrelated marketing purposes, except where separately disclosed and lawfully permitted.

Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and any relevant exceptions, you may have rights concerning your Personal Information. Under Israeli law, these include the right to request access to Personal Information about you held in a database and the right to request correction of Personal Information that is incomplete, incorrect, unclear or not up to date.

Where the GDPR applies, you may also have the right to request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests; receive certain Personal Information in a portable format; withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. You have the right to object at any time to processing of Personal Information for direct marketing.

These rights are not absolute and may be limited where permitted by law. To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices and terms. We encourage you to review the applicable privacy notice before providing Personal Information to a third party.

Information security

We maintain reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized or unlawful access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction. Our security measures are reviewed in light of the nature of the information, relevant risks and applicable legal requirements, including applicable Israeli information-security requirements. Access to Personal Information is limited to persons who need it for authorized purposes.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to reduce foreseeable privacy and security risks.

Data breach

If we become aware of a Personal Information security incident, we will assess and respond to it in accordance with our incident-response procedures and applicable law. Where notification to a regulator, the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority, another supervisory authority, affected individuals or other parties is required, we will make the required notification within the applicable timeframe.

Changes and amendments

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our processing activities, the Website or applicable law. The revised version will be posted on the Website with an updated “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

If a change requires new consent under applicable law, we will obtain that consent before carrying out the relevant processing. Continued use of the Website will not by itself be treated as consent where valid consent is legally required.
