Who We Are:
Adaptiq is a technology hub specializing in building, scaling, and supporting R&D teams for high-end, fast-growing product companies in a wide range of industries.
About the Product:
The product is a security-aware platform built to help enterprises monitor, analyze, and optimize the digital experience across all employee devices and environments, whether on-prem, virtual, or cloud-based. It gives IT teams real-time visibility into system performance, application stability, and end-user experience, with the ability to automatically detect and remediate issues before they cause disruptions.
The product has seen strong traction globally, with significant year-over-year growth and increasing demand from large, distributed teams that need to secure and stabilize digital environments without adding complexity.
About the Role:
This is a role for DevOps engineers who thrive on scale, complexity, and meaningful impact – not just maintaining pipelines or supporting releases. You’ll be part of a core infrastructure team operating at serious scale: over 700 Kubernetes nodes, more than 2,000 active cloud instances, and a $1 million monthly cloud spend across Azure and AWS. The platform powers digital experience for global enterprises like PayPal, AT&T, and BlackRock, with uptime and performance measured in real-time.
You’ll work directly on systems that demand precision, automation, and stability. You’ll architect, build, and evolve core components of our infrastructure stack, contribute to CI/CD automation, optimize system performance, and ensure production readiness for high-throughput environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, operate, and continuously evolve large-scale multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure 70%, AWS 30%)
- Build and maintain robust Kubernetes clusters using IaC principles (Terraform, Helm)
- Improve and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- Implement observability best practices with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, Splunk
- Troubleshoot live issues across infrastructure layers – from containers to cost/performance at scale
- Collaborate with R&D, Security, and IT teams to deliver secure, reliable platforms
- Contribute to internal tooling and automation that keeps our infra fast, reproducible, and compliant.
Required Competence and Skills:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/self-managed) and container orchestration
- Experience with Helm and Terraform (or other IaC tools)
- Solid background in CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Strong grasp of observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Zabbix, etc.
- Experience operating production systems at scale – performance, security, and stability under pressure.
Nice to have:
- Experience with ArgoCD, Vault, or Consul
- Proficiency in any scripting language (Python, Groovy, etc.)
- Experience with Helm
- Familiarity with Ansible or other config management tools
- Linux administration background
- CKA-certified (or interested – we’ll support certification).
