Who we are:

Adaptiq is a technology hub specializing in building, scaling, and supporting R&D teams for high-end, fast-growing product companies in a wide range of industries.

About the Product:

We develop a unified digital workplace management platform that combines real-time monitoring, automation, and proactive remediation to prevent end-user interruptions and streamline IT operations. The platform addresses the digital employee experience market, integrating data from any desktop, application, or network into a single interface. It supports large-scale enterprise environments with data-dense UIs, dashboards, tables,s and filters driven by real-time metrics while reducing tool sprawl and lowering mean time to resolution. Teams rely on the platform to maintain performance, manage patches and configurations, and automate repetitive tasks, making its design critical for both usability and operational impact.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our global Creative team and take ownership of our design system and product UI. You will help shape the future direction of our platform, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers. This role offers autonomy over component library architecture and hands-on involvement in both strategic vision and day-to-day execution. You will contribute to a phased North Star redesign while ensuring the current experience remains polished and functional. Success means delivering high-quality, accessible interfaces under tight timelines and influencing design practices across multiple domains of the product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the Figma component library, utilizing Auto Layout, Variables, and Interactive Components for scalable UI elements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation in tools such as Zeroheight, Storybook, or within Figma to guide designers and developers.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure design fidelity in code, establishing and managing Design Tokens.
  • Define and govern the component contribution process, deciding when to incorporate elements into the core system versus local solutions.
  • Onboard and mentor product designers on the correct usage of the design system, serving as the primary point of contact for system-related queries.
  • Champion WCAG accessibility standards across all UI components, driving inclusivity and compliance.
  • Work end-to-end with PMs and tech leads on specific product domains—monitoring, device management, dashboards, ensuring user-centered outcomes.
  • Support the phased North Star vision by iterating on existing interfaces and preparing guidelines for future redesign phases.

Required Competence and Skills:

  • 3+ years of product design experience (UI/UX), including at least 1 year building or managing a robust design system.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, with deep knowledge of Styles, Variables, Tokens, and Interactive Components.
  • Strong systemic thinking and familiarity with Atomic Design, able to decompose complex interfaces into reusable elements.
  • Hands-on experience with Storybook or equivalent component documentation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of HTML & CSS fundamentals (Box Model, Flexbox) and how designs translate to browser and mobile implementations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent English proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with motion design and micro-interactions.
  • Background in frontend development or code-adjacent roles.
  • Familiarity with Dark Mode implementation or multi-brand theming strategies.
